Well, that depends... Every client is different, but as a general rule, we recommend 4-6 finalist candidates. The idea is to narrow the field for our clients so they don’t have to spend weeks conducting interviews and comparing candidate qualifications. However, there are some clients who feel more secure in seeing 6-8 of the best finalists, as an assurance that they are getting a broad selection. It really is a matter of preference.
But whatever your preference, your goal is to find the ONE candidate who will best fit your short and long-term goals, as quickly and efficiently as possible.
